WORKING SECTION MAX. VELOCITY: 12 m/s

MAX. & MIN. ABS. PRESSURES: 200 kPa, 5.7 kPa

CAVITATION NUMBER RANGE: sigma = 0.8 to 3.0 for J = 0.5 to 1.5


INSTRUMENTATION: propeller dynamometer, 3-component balance, 5-hole pitot tube . various pressure sensors

TYPE AND LOCATION OF TORQUE & THRUST DYNAM, : sealed strain gage dynamometer mounted between propeller and first shaft bearing TRange: -900N ~ +900N QRange: -45Nm ~ +45Nm

PROPELLER OR MODEL SIZE RANGE: diameters from 13O to 250 mm, 200 mm typical TESTS PERFORMED: (1) propeller tests in uniform & non-uniform flows.

(2) forces and pressure distributions on rudders. fins , hydrofoils, cable fairings, submerged bodies. etc.
